The product of the Geox partnership with the WWF, the Alben sneaker has been created with the environment in mind: it is crafted in environmentally friendly materials and sustainable leathers from tanneries that use sustainable production processes classified and certified by LWG. Waxed leather and suede leather in navy blue and orange alternate with sustainable denim in 60% cotton and 40% FSC-certified paper, and it stands out for its running-shoe style design and the picture of a wolf appliquéd on the side. The 15% recycled EVA midsole and the 30% recycled rubber tread offer lightness, flexibility, durability and a firm grip, while the outsole, with the exclusive Geox-patented technology, facilitates natural thermo-regulation of the feet. The elastic lace-up fastening makes it easy to slip on and the single velcro strap allows it to be adjusted to fit. The lining is 100% recycled cotton and the removable footbed is practical and hygienic and covered in chrome-free, non-toxic leather, for a constant sensation of dryness.
